Roby attended a celebrity chef Harry Soo's barbecue cooking class in 2018. As a result, she became a certified pitmaster and was soon working in a barbecue restaurant.


Barbecue was a hobby that she began to enjoy and then became a passion. She began by making dishes on her back deck. In the next few years, she began to participate in barbecue competitions throughout the country, where her dishes were prepared by world-famous chefs. She has opened a number of pop-ups in Dayton, Ohio since then. She hopes to one day open a food truck.
