How to make an omelet that is perfect

Omelets are a favorite breakfast food of mine. How can you make them perfectly? I have tried many different recipes and methods, but none of them work. Today, I'd like to share some tips with you in order to make delicious and fluffy omelets every day.

Before we start making omelets, let's remember that eggs are temperamental. They must be fresh, preferably from the organic market, and be kept cold until cooking. If you don't keep them cold enough, the whites won't form properly, and the yolks will break down too much and become runny. This will make your omelets appear strangely colored. If you plan to cook the eggs right away, it is best to use room temperature eggs.

Another tip is to separate your egg before adding it into the pan. Because this could cause your omelet to become curdled, you don't want any yolk to be mixed with any white.

If you add the egg directly onto the stovetop, you might end up burning the bottom part of the egg, which would ruin the texture of your omelet. Instead, heat the egg in a microwave for 10 seconds and then place it in a pan. The microwave heat cooks the eggs just right without overcooking them.

Next, let’s talk about mixing the egg. When you mix eggs together, you want to beat them well. You need to turn the bowl of the mixer upside down. Then, vigorously shake the bowl. This way, the air inside the bowl gets whipped around and mixes the egg thoroughly.

Now it's time to have fun: pour the milk into the mixture. Mix half of the milk with the eggs. Then fold the eggs in half into the remaining milk. Don't worry if there are still streaks of egg visible; these streaks will disappear once you flip the omelet.
